About Air France

Air France, the French flag carrier, is France's largest airline and, along with its sister company KLM, is the world's fifth-largest airline by revenue. Headquartered at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, it is also one of the world's oldest airlines, with regular services dating back to 1933. Air France has hubs at both of Paris' main airports, as well as 'focus airports' in Bordeaux, Marseilles, Toulouse, Nice and Lyon.

Air France employees over 80,000 people and its fleet of 224 aircraft serve 211 destinations. It also has its own global cargo service. At one time, Air France had seven Concorde planes in its fleet, serving routes across the Atlantic and chartering flights across the world, which helped to cement its reputation as a luxury carrier.

Air France is a member of the Sky Team alliance of airlines and is part of the Air France-KLM group, which saw the flag carriers of France and the Netherlands merge in 2003.
