Check-in can be done online or at the airport.

Online Check-In

For flights from Nigeria, Senegal, Portugal, Cabo Verde, and Brazil, guests check-in online 36 hours before flight departure. Note that the online check-in stops 120 minutes before flight departure.

 

Airport Check-In

For regional and international flights, passengers should arrive 3 hours before their flight departure. Passengers travelling to the United States are requested to arrive 4 hours before the departure of flights. For regional flights, passengers should be at the gate and ready to board at least 50 minutes before departure. For international flights, passengers are requested to be at the terminal gate and be prepared to board at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The gates close within 10 minutes to the flight departure.

Cabo Verde Airlines provide travellers with a culinary voyage, ranging from Cape Verdean gastronomic delicacies to special meals for diabetic and vegetarian passengers. Travellers departing from Praia and Sal can enjoy traditional sweets and typical dishes such as couscous.

Cabo Verde offers Economy and Comfort/Business Class. The business class is well-equipped with ample legroom, preferred recline and headrest. The economy class also features spacious seats with superior reclining and seat pitch.

All passengers are allowed one piece of checked luggage, weighing no more than 15kg on domestic flights, 23kg on international flights, and 20kg on regional flights. Passengers traveling with international flights, classes W, B, N, Y, M, Q have 30kg of checked luggage.

Every passenger allowed one piece of hand luggage, weighing no more than 8kg with maximum dimensions of 115cm or 55 cm x 35 cm x 25.

Passengers  with babies are allowed to carry a beat seat, stroller, or bassinet for kids up to two years.

In addition to the hand luggage allowance, passengers can carry the following few of charge:

●      Cane or an umbrella

●      Lady’s handbag or a briefcase

●      Books and magazines

●      Binoculars, video-recorder or a camera
