Moscow Domodedovo Aiport is located 26 miles southeast of the Russian capital. It's one of four airports in the Moscow region and the second busiest in the whole of the Russian Federation. It now serves over thirty million passengers every year.
Passenger services began from the airport in 1964, and it was originally intended to handle the growth of internal flights across the vast Soviet Union. Today it has two concourses, one for international flights and the other for domestic flights. Both concourses have duty-free facilities. 46 airlines now offer flights to and from Moscow Domodedovo Airport-DME.
There are a number of lounge facilities available and 2017 saw the opening of the Aerotel Express hotel within the terminal concourse.
The airport has its own railway station that links to the Paveletsky Rail Terminal in central Moscow via an Aeroexpress service. The service takes around 45 minutes.
