Glasgow Airport serves Scotland's largest city. It welcomes international visitors to the northern European nation and competes with Edinburgh Airport as the country's busiest.
Located just ten miles from Glasgow city centre, it welcomes nearly nine million visitors a year and is a major transport hub for west central Scotland.
Opened in 1966, the airport has steadily grown in importance and the number of international flights has increased too.
Airlines such as Jet2, easyJet and TUI Airways use the airport as a base. It is the hub for Loganair, which operates domestic flights across Scotland.
International routes include Dubai, Amsterdam, Dublin and Toronto, with the airport also catering to a number of domestic locations too.
Due to the airport's central location, transport into Glasgow is easy, with a shuttle bus running 24 hours a day. A rail link has been planned to service the airport and is due to start work in 2022.

After security, you'll find a duty-free store with a selection of confectionery, alcohol, souvenirs, and other products. Brands such as Adidas, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, among others, also have shops at the airport. You can also find books, sportswear, and even liquor shops at the airport.
Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, or have a specific food allergy or intolerance, there is a range of food outlets throughout the airport that can cater to you.
