Located 17 miles northwest of Chicago, O'Hare International Airport has been named the ‘Best Airport in North America’ for 13 years in a row. It is one of the busiest airports in the world and offers non-stop flights to over 200 destinations.
The airport welcomes over 84 million passengers each year and serves as a unique hub to two of the United States’ mainline carriers, United Airlines and American Airlines. It is also a gateway to the stunning architecture, vibrant culture and award-winning dining of one of the USA’s most famous cities.
Originally founded as Chicago Municipal Airport in 1926, O'Hare International was renamed in 1949 when it expanded to meet increasing demand in the area. Construction work is ongoing even today, with further expansion planned for 2021 that will see the airport add over 3 million square feet to its existing terminals.
