Perth Airport is the fourth busiest international airport in Australia and lies between the boundaries of four Australian cities: Perth, Swan, Kalamunda and Belmont.
The airport is a hub for Cobham, Alliance Airlines, Network Aviation, Skippers Aviation, Qantas and Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, and around 70% of their passengers are travelling domestically.
The number of passengers passing through Perth Airport has been rising steadily by approximately 5.8% every year since 1999, with 13.6 million passengers passing through in 2017.
The airport was founded in 1938 and was quickly converted into a temporary military base for the United States Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force to support the efforts of the Second World War.
In 1944, civil airline services from Australian National Airways and Qantas Empire Airways began operations alongside the Australian and US military and have continued ever since.

Inter Terminal Transportation: There are two terminal precincts at Perth Airport that are separated by a short, 15-minute drive: the T1/T2 precinct and the T3/T4 precinct. Terminal Transfer Bus is available.
