I am Kehinde. And yes, I come with a twin. Taiwo and I are your classic double-trouble duo. We share everything: looks, hobbies, quirks, and a weird obsession with matching socks (don’t ask). But when it comes to vacations? The twinning stops.
After five years of designing for rival tech unicorns, we decided it was time for a reward. I was ready to slap on some sunscreen and hit the skies. But Taiwo? He looked me dead in the eye and said, “Let’s stay in Nigeria.”
Excuse me?
In the rainy season? Really? What’s the plan—tap dancing in puddles? My skin doesn’t appreciate surprise showers.

I have spent the first half of my holiday at a stunning Nigerian resort on the outskirts of Lagos, and I am not even mad. Turns out, rainy season vacations in Nigeria hit different. It’s cosy, calm, and has full rom-com montage energy.
