Agra is the city of three UNESCO World Heritage sites and the stunning architecture. It is some four to five hours bus drive to Delhi, famed for its openness to tourism, old heritages, magnificent monuments, and colourful markets. A city founded as the capital of the Mughal empire, whose earliest recorded history dates back to the 11th century. Agra is part of India's golden trifecta, which also includes Delhi and Jaipur.

Flying into the city by plane is so inflexible as it's served by what is ideally an air force base. However, numerous train options connect the city on both the Delhi-Mumbai (Bombay) and Delhi-Chennai routes. And as long as you aren't considering driving to the Taj Mahal complex, the rest of the city can easily be traversed by car (especially in taxis).
