Dana Air is a Nigerian domestic airline founded in 2008. It is owned by DANA Group, the Nigerian conglomerate. The airline's headquarters are in Ikeja and its hub is Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Dana Air has a fleet of six aircraft: two McDonnell Douglas MD-82s, two McDonnell Douglas MD-83s, and two Boeing 737-300s. They fly scheduled domestic and executive charter flights to and from five destinations within Nigeria.
As of August 2019, Dana Air's destinations are Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, Port Harcourt International Airport in Port Harcourt, Akwa Ibom Airport in Uyo, as well as their base in Lagos.
As an airline that values convenience, Dana Air has made it so that customers can do several things via Whatsapp, such as making flight reservations, getting flight updates, requesting upgrades, registering for the airline's flight rewards programme called Dana Miles, as well as a 'book now, pay later' scheme.

Flyers can check-in online, via the Dana Air website, or at the airport terminal.
Online Check-in:
Online check-ins open 24 hours before departure. It allows passengers to select from available seats, print boarding pass, and complete check-in. Check-ins can also be carried out via their mobile app.
Airport Check-in:
You’ll find Dana Air check-in desks in the terminal. Passengers are advised to clear boarding gates at least 30 minutes before takeoff as the gates are closed 10 minutes to departure.
Passengers must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure. Check-in ends 25 minutes before takeoff.
Reservations may be cancelled where a passenger fails to board the aircraft at least 10 minutes before departure. Failure to turn up for the flight attracts a "no show" penalty.
For any changes to check-in status, a passenger must contact representatives at the check-in counter along with copies of the printed boarding pass.
Dana offers snack packs to Economy Class passengers and it contains pastries, biscuit, candy and water. Business-class passengers are entitled to in-flight meals often savoury local cuisines. Passengers with unique feeding requirements must make this known to the cabin crew before takeoff.
Dana Air offers two cabin classes: Economy and Business Classes.
Dana Business Classes somewhat improves on in-flight comfort, including meal service and legroom.
The Dana Miles loyalty programme (Dana Miles Blue, Dana Miles Silver, Dana Miles Gold) comes with great benefits from the planning stage, boarding, through disembarking, including a dedicated helpline, book rewards, waitlist priority, priority boarding, and priority baggage handling.
Hand Luggage:
All passengers are allowed one piece of hand luggage 6 kg max and 45cm x 33cm x 20cm in dimension in the cabin. Laptop computers, cash, jewellery and other valuables should be packed among the carry-ons.
Checked Luggage:
Business Class travellers are allowed a maximum of 30kg, while those in Economy cabin get 23kg. Any baggage over the checked baggage allowance attracts an additional fee (charged per kilogram).
Infants & Children:
Infants are allowed 10kg.
